Meet Jana Temple

Just a small town girl at heart, Jana Temple brings an abundance of experience and a reputation for honesty, trustworthiness, and superior business skills to the Chamber. She received a B.S.in Psychology from the University of North Alabama and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Louisiana Baptist University. She began her career as an elementary teacher and after a few years decided to obtain an insurance agent license in 2013. She decided to join her husband, Shawn Temple, full-time helping him grow his book of business in 2014. Her years spent in the education industry helped her gain important skills that allow her to provide the best service to her clients in the insurance industry. In 2021, they decided to open their own insurance agency. Currently, they run a successful insurance agency in Aubrey TX, JTS Insurance Advisors, LLC.

Originally from a small town in Alabama, Jana grew up knowing the value of a small business. Both of her grandparents owned general stores her entire life. She was raised to support the “little man” or what is now called Support Local. Jana has a deep understanding and passion for what goes into starting a small business and what it takes to grow and maintain that small business. Jana moved to Texas in 2003 when she married her best friend and husband, of 19 years, Shawn. She is a proud mom to her four children, Lexie, Madison, Brock, and Kenzie. They are her pure joy! You can find Jana at many of the Aubrey ISD school events, as she is an Aubrey ISD School Board Member, since 2021. When she is not working on her business, or attending ballgames to watch her children, Jana enjoys traveling with her family, being outdoors, gardening, relaxing at home, and devotes her time and resources to helping others.

She prides herself on having a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Her goal is to make each client feel comfortable and at ease with the process of buying, reviewing, and shopping for their insurance needs. Her goal is to extend these same attributes, applied to her own business, to the members of the Aubrey 380 Area Chamber of Commerce.
